Award-winning watercolor artist Tanis Bula expresses the
wonder and joy of nature in the spontaneity and vibrancy of her watercolors.
A native of Iowa, she received her degree from Iowa State University. She
also studied at the Kansas City Art Institute. Since 1978 she has had a
successful career as owner of an award-winning graphic design firm in Denver,
CO. The demand for her paintings has escalated her career transition to
fine artist. Tanis' approach to watercolor painting is best described as
impressionistic 'plein-air.' She has enjoyed the privilege of painting in
the U.S., Caribbean, Mexico and France. She has been shown in several galleries
and exhibits in juried shows both internationally and nationally. Please
