Adrienne was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1938. She received a BA in drawing, painting and printmaking from the Art Institute of Chicago. After graduation, she traveled to Europe and copied master works in Paris at the Louvre museum and has taken painting seminars in the Uffizi and Pitti Galleries in Florence, Italy. She has also studied from the incomparable collection in the Vatican, Rome. Lately she did some on-location painting on the Island of Amorgos, Greece, in 1996, and also visited the National Archaeological Museum in Athens and the Olympia Museum, studying Grecian painting and sculpture. In 1997, she painted on location in Sedona, Arizona and lately, on Sanibel Island, Florida.
After traveling in Europe, Adrienne married George in 1965 and settled down in Westchester, Illinois, where she raised their four children, Christos, Adrian, Joan, and Jacqueline. Now that the children have completed college, Adrienne spends hours painting in her studio, as well as travelling and sketching on the spot.
She constantly exhibits her work and has had three one-woman shows as well as numerous group shows in prestigious galleries in the Midwest, Wisconsin and Chicago area.
She is currently a member of the La Grange Art League, Illinois Watercolor Society, U.S. Coast Guard Artists' Program, and International Society of Marine Painters, etc. She has won outstanding awards at the LaGrange Art League and the Illinois Watercolor Society.
